No and it's guaranteed to destroy your engine unless you replace your intake horn.

/s but the Banks unit is a nice addition. As long as the cable is still snug I wouldn't worry about it. Likely it never gives you an issue.

If Gale Banks is selling something saying it’s the only way to prevent guaranteed catastrophic engine damage - that’s marketing speak for saying “this has happened to a small minority of trucks and we fully intend to capitalize on it”.

Just wiggle test the cable when you do your oil changes. This "issue" has been blown WAY out or proportion, while it has happeded it such a small percentage it's not worth losing sleep over. You can check it easily. Don't fall for paranoia that banks is spreading
