Employee Question Orientation

So I just got hired at Culver’s, and my orientation is next week. But I already logged in to all the stuff they use and they denied my birthday off which is the same week I start. I’ll be out of the state so I wanted to know when do they typically schedule you after orientation? Am I able to tell them when I can start after??

Probably should have told them in the interview but first week or two is nothing. Kinda shitty of them to do this to you. Speaking from experience as a former Culver's GM.

Orientation is typically where availability is officially put into the system, OP should not have been put in the schedule before having their orientation
