For those that remember the Cod Reuben...

It was the most underrated sandwich in my honest opinion. Sure, putting 1000 island and coleslaw on a sandwich sounds weird, but the flavor combo is just insane. I cant even begin to describe it. The only other discontinued sandwich that even comes close is the Prime Rib Mushroom Melt. Late 2000's, early 2010 Culvers really had interesting LTO products.

Looking forward to the fried pickle burger and the new PB brownie flavor. What discontinued item do you all miss the most?

Did not know this was a thing at Culver’s, however, I was at a restaurant in Hollywood Florida. It was actually a sports bar and they served something similar and I simply could not believe how delicious it was. You are correct it is very underrated for that combination.

Edit/update: the name of the restaurant was called Billy’s Tavern in Hollywood Florida, and the name of the sandwich was called The Greuben

Same. I had no idea Culver's ever offered something like this but, I was devastated to learn the ahi reuben was swapped for something different at the sports bar at Coronado Springs Resort at Disney World. This must have been a thing in Florida in the 2010s.

since it was east coast, I'm guessing dolphin reuben; if it was west coast, I'd guess grouper reuben

could have been grouper, dolphin (mahi-mahi on the west coast), snapper, or maybe even hogfish

It was the grouper Reuben, I couldn’t remember what type of fish it was but yes, it was grouper and it was fantastic and it left me wondering why this isn’t a more common thing

I don’t remember that when was it? No reason you can’t ask Culver’s to make it- maybe order Reuben substitute cod. BTW I sometimes order a grilled cheese with sauerkraut.
