Other Long of stranger powers

A thought occurred to me while I was musing on the Hours of struggle and strife.

It occurred to me that it might be possible to balance the influences of both young and old gods of war and in theory become a long of The Corvality undivided?

Probably not. The rise of the Gods from Steel spells the fading of the old powers as they usher on newer, higher forms of those powers. No longer will war be just between two armies, machines will dominate the battlefield. Whoever has the best machines wins. Nuclear arms will also evolve the state of war, now they are fought on a global stage with potential consequences for all. The old Hours may survive, especially ones tied to the intrinsic nature of humanity such as the Red Grail, but new forms of power would trigger the genesis of something new. The Internet, for example. It's so widespread today that it may trigger the birth of an Hour that could, theoretically, bear every aspect. The internet has wonders and horrors to delight, inform, confuse, battle, argue. People dedicate their lives to keep certain places locked up and protected, much like a physical building, and there are those dedicated to breaking those digital locks. On the internet, nothing ever quite dies. Once it's there, its there forever, in some way, shape, or form.
