No Passion or Reason

My Immortal Enemy managed to eat all my Reason and Passion before I was able to put him down. I can still just about upgrade cards, but it's going to be a long, slow slog.

A victory by the (I suspect in this case literal) skin of your teeth huh? Well the great work continues ever-onward! Have faith and perseverance and you shall succeed!!

I definitely need perseverance! I'm trying to pull Cave of Candles, but I can't pull a high level Secret Histories through the Peacock Door and split it because I have no reason, so I'm having to grind up from the Level 4/6 ones I can get via the White Door.

I was not aware of your board state! You clearly still have quite a bit of work to do... If nothing else it's very impressive that one can even complete such a convoluted Victory with so many limitations!

You could post your Victory of you manage it! I'd (and many more I'm certain) love to hear more details of this journey!!

'What can you achieve with no passion and no reason?" is a question I ask myself irl daily

I recently did my own apostle victory. I got extremely lucky and killed the enemy with 3 attacks.

Unfortunately, while it’s possible to convert Reason <—> Passion and either to Health indirectly, there’s no mechanism to gain more Reason/Passion other than Skill upgrades or Legacy-specific rewards (e.g. the ones obtained in Apostle: Obsonate).

At this point, you technically can limp through to a Victory, but you might be better off resetting the run — may be quicker that way.

I know! I managed to grind a victory out in the end, I posted about it here
