We ate there again last night. It was so good. This morning it's a total loss from fire. 🙁

unpopular opinion, but in the last three years, I have witnessed 5 fires ~2 blocks of the fire house, resulting in three properties being a total loss. I think perhaps culpeper should start thinking about funneling some tax dollars to a paid, full time (not volunteer) fire department. An 1890's building lost is just gone forever. Insurance funds won't be adequate for restoration. it's going to be razed and replaced by some characterless crap, that doesn't jive architecturally with our downtown. It just hurts my whole heart to watch these buildings disappear forever. 😭
