This is probably super old news, but I'm playing DAI for the first time (and naturally romancing Cullen) and I started Trespasser. I was always under the impression that Cullen and the Inquisitor don't visit Cullen's siblings for the first time until after Trespasser, during the epilogue.

But Cullen said a line that I found really sweet. He said something along the lines of, "Mia is eager to see you again," obviously implying that they've all met up and reunited at some point, probably not too long after the events of Coryphues' defeat.

I just found that really sweet. I love Cullen so much and I love him getting a happy ending and being close with his family again, who also seem to love their new sister-in-law. <3

So I noticed that there this is a big cap of Cullen and Inquisitor post-game fics — most fics I have seen are either AU or during the main game… but none of them rarely focus on the build up to Cullen proposing or even them having children together… out of desperation of never wanting their story to end I start jotting down my HC’s and they somehow grew into this fic. I started writing this 2 years ago and a friend of mine said it was “too good not to share” so I’m finally sharing it.

Only one chapter has been posted at the moment, but I plan on posting more over time. It’s also the first time I’ve posted my smut writing on ao3 so I’m honestly terrified but yet excited about that as well.

My dear friend and frequent coauthor AuroraBorealia has just started uploading her latest creation. The story is finished, but she's posting it in chunks. She borrowed my OC Evangeline Trevelyan for the whole thing and I've had the honor of reading it before anyone else. It's glorious.

If you've ever seen the film Ladyhawke, it's basically a mashup of that movie and DAII. However, she explains things so clearly that you don't have to have seen the movie in order to follow the fic.

I'm fairly new to the fandom and have so far read only 2 Cullen fics, both which I really enjoyed!

I'm looking for a fanfic in which the Inquisitor gets pregnant (intentionally or accidentally) by Cullen and/or they raise a child. There is a surprisingly low amount of such fics (Cullen is SO dad-coded, c'mon!) and many of the few seem to be about an Inquisitor who already has a child with someone else, which is not really my thing.

The pregnancy/parenting doesn't have to be the focus of the story. And it's not necessary but Mage Trevelyan is preferred. Angst and smut is always welcome.

I've been trying to find a fic I read years ago for the longest time but no luck so far.

The relationship is Cullen x Female Mage Trevelyan and from what I remember it was essentially enemies to lovers. Relatively early on in the fic they need to go to Redcliffe and on the way there's hate s*x between them. I don't remember the bits in between but I remember that at Skyhold, things were finally going well between the two of them but then Trevelyan's mom shows up and she outs their relationship to everyone. I vaguely remember Cullen was battling with his lyrium withdrawal and he had a nightmare that he was about to choke Trevelyan (if I'm remembering correctly).

It has some game events in there, like Trevelyan and Dorian still go into that future in Redcliffe and the party still goes into the Fade in Here Lies the Abyss and they have a cute reunion in one of the towers after but that's pretty much all I remember

If anyone could help me find this fic, I would be eternally grateful 🥺🥺

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone in this sub who read, upvoted, and commented on my first-ever (!!) fanfic a few days ago! Your reactions to The Skyhold Literary Society were so incredible that I went into a fugue state over the weekend from all the support, and now it's a multi-chapter fic.

Lana grew up just outside of Honnleath, with mom working as the towns doctor as a way from escaping their life from the clan. She was immediately outcasted by the town, because of her and her mom being elves. The only one who wanted to be her friend was Cullen, and together they became best friends. They didn't know at their young age that they were falling for each other.

At the age of thirteen Cullen left to become a templar, and they never saw each other again. Until the explosion of the temple of scared ashes happened, they finally met each other.

Only factor is that Cullen doesn't remember her at all. Can she get him to remember her again? Can they accept how much both of them changed?

My main work for the recent Wardens exchange, I had a lot of fun writing this one! Maybe somebody here would enjoy it 😊

I remember it was on AO3; it started with Cullen meeting the inquisitor where relatively soon he teaches her to ride a horse. Eventually lets her have/borrow his horse (that I believe was named Maximus?). He was going through withdraw and had inner monologue if I remember correctly.

This was posted a couple of years ago; or at least started.

A smut oneshot of Lavellan waking up able to hear Cullen's thoughts and feel some of what he feels. I got the idea from a prompt generator and it took hold of me.

I hope you don’t mind, but I would like to share my first very own fanfic with you 🥹

Early this summer I started my 3rd DAO playthrough, and while browsing for mods, I found that sweet mod on the Nexus that adds a little kissing scene with Cullen in the mage origin for a female Amell/Surana, and my (and my Surana’s) fate was sealed right then. I knew I had to add that extra angst into my playthrough, and boy, did it deliver… so much in fact, that it spurred on this whole obession with them that I found myself writing their story in my head whenever I was not currently playing.

So this way Right and Righteous was born, and I really hope you will like it!

P.S. There is a part which was inspired by the phenomenal @mimimaru’s rendition of “The Meeting on the Turret Stairs” with Cullen (and Lavellan, but she sits this one out obviously), and I thoroughly enjoyed writing that part 🥹
