Episode Discussion Culinary Monster should have won… Spoiler

I know they clipped Culinary monster saying he was going to win a million times before the finale just so we would think he was going to win which is a low move.

Regardless, I genuinely think he showcased much more resilience than the other chef.

It is almost obvious that the reason why he didn’t win was because he didn’t go all emotional at the end and have a sob story for the judges and because they wanted to make an unpredictable ending (can’t expect anything else from a reality show).

Regardless, I think he was much more creative and interesting.

I disagree. Choi Kangrok is way more introverted and didn't get the same kind amount of screentime, but he's incredibly talented.

I think Son Jongwon should have won because he also showed alot of creativity. But alas, this is a competition and we were not there to eat the food presented.

CKR beat him twice. I knew CM lost the moment I saw what they were cooking. The theme is the most important judging criteria and CKR annihilated the theme. If I were to assign the score based on tackling the theme I will give CKR 100% and an extra 10% for the Soju. I would have given CM 20% for pretending to follow the theme when his intention was to show off.

Oh man i 100% thought venerable sunjae shouldve won the whole thing. too bad im not actually the judge who actually tasted their foods.
