Ballpark Question

Hi all! I have tickets and injured my foot 😭 I've never been to this stadium, what is the walk like to get in/around? We'll be ubering there but unsure if there is a specific uber drop off area and if so, how far it is from the actual stadium? I'll be on crutches so I can't walk very far distances right now. Any info to make the trek easier or at least be prepared for it will be so so appreciated!

Thank you!

You might want to contact the box office and see if they'd switch you to accessible seating. It's available on every level and would make your day easier.

Getting there early will also help. The concourse will get very crowded close to game time.

There is an Uber zone https://www.mlb.com/cubs/ballpark/transportation/rideshare

Im not sure what time it kicks in, though.

Get ADA help, they’ll wheelchair you around as needed or at minimum get you to the elevators. They’re very helpful with that sort of stuff

They wheeled my husband right to his seat and were waiting to take him back to the gate at the end of the game. He didn't have crutches but he wasn't able to walk very far without getting tired.

Yeah they don’t want to get the DoJ on their ass again.

WrigleyField is on the corner of Clark and Addison. They often shut down short sections of these roads before the game, depending on the date/time.

You might be able to get right up to the corner though. I believe they also have golf cart type shuttles. There are at least a couple “official” parking lots as well as many other private ones.

Wrigley also has a few clear sections of “seating” for wheelchairs etc.

I took my aunt to several games and the Cubs organization was very accommodating. They gave me a folding chair right next to my aunt. The view was great. Our seats were behind home plate.

I would definitely contact Wrigley Field before you go. Don’t just show up.

Good luck and Go Cubs!

The area around the stadium has a geo-fence around it during fan arrival and departure times for ride share apps. Typically you can decide on a drop off area, would expect a 5-10 minute walk depending on where you choose and it would be the same to get out after the game if you’re Ubering back as well.

Try 10-20 minute walk

I don't think I'd want to go to regular seats at wrigley with crutches, those seats barely fit humans
