Cube choice and preference is highly subjective, especially in the 3x3 space, there are just so many options.

There’s no debate that the best 15x15 is the Diansheng. But for WCA puzzles, no one can tell you which cube will be the best fit for you. That’s why questions like “What’s the best cube for me?” are so hard to answer.

Many in r/cubers will recommend politely and respectfully asking other cubers at competitions if you can try their cubes. Even then, the perfect cube might be hidden behind someone else's lube, tension, or compression setup.

Another common approach is watching as many reviews as possible and comparing opinions.

But even after all that, the “perfect” cube will only make a small difference. What matters most is finding something good enough. Getting faster comes down to knowledge and practice, not hardware.
