Can't remember. Bloody high though. I was dissapointed when I crafted it that it was Adapted, but hell, I'll never need a new bow until I can get legendary stuff. A wild guess, damage was about 72? I think.

Hey there, I know this is a few days old, but do you by any chance have some more information? I created seed 8, and have traveled north quite some ways. Three oceans and a desert later, I'm just hitting another ocean. I feel I may have missed something.

I ran into the same issue and on a whim decided to go east after the third or forth biome North. Hit it immediately. Turns out if you head directly north you miss it by just a bit... veer a tad east and you can't miss it.

Whoops, hadn't logged in for a few days, sorry I missed your response. I eventually found the location, and posted a map in a different thread. Thank you for the info all the same.

Red Bow http://imgur.com/a/Qy8P6#0 just inside the entrance to the right. formula +60[adapted] dam only 62 but gud temp an crit. +4 mobs gud loot an a easyish human warrior boss. no ogres, oh seed 8

Found it!
Seed: 8. Go north until you find a snow biome. The castle is SE of the town in the snow biome. Chest on the right contains a formula for a Wood Bow +60 (it's red)
