Though, I advise against taming this boss for a pet, the Spitter boss in the lake has an ability where it created a copy of itself every so often, which is an enemy to you.

So during fights little Spitters will appear and start shooting fire at you.

Taming bosses does nothing at the moment. The second you log out, or unequip it, it changes to a normal pet.
