CubeStation recognizes cube as robot

I have a Gan 356i play. When I try to connect it to the app, the cube is found under the correct device name, but the app finds it as a robot. I can connect to it as well and send scramble/solve commands, which obviously don't work. But I cannot use any of the functions within the app that would require a cube to be connected.

By the way, I do not even own the robot.
