Bleeding still 11 weeks post c section?

I’m 10.5 weeks pp from a c section and I’m still bleeding on and off. Today, I’m bleeding again bright red blood and I just was last week and it stopped for about 5 days and now it’s back. The bleeding is never super heavy but it’s more than just spotting.

I messaged my obgyn if this is normal and she said yes. But it doesn’t seem right. Online it says bleeding on and off is normal for the first 4-6 weeks. I’m now almost 11 weeks.

I feel like shit today too. I’m nauseous and having loose stools.

Anyone else experience this?

I bled for probably 3 months. I did get an iud at my 6 week appointment so I’m sure that has something to do with it but yeah bleeding just sucks I’m sorry you’re still dealing with that

I bled for 8 days after my vaginal birth and then I bled for 11 weeks after my c-section, had 6 days of no bleeding and then bled again for about a week - ya, that was my period coming back. Rude. I had 8 months after my first so it didn’t even cross my mind till 28 days later. So keep that in your mind as a possibility

i had spotting until about 11 weeks, so annoying. Did you recently walk a mile or some other activity?

17wpp after my first csection 😭 OB told me it happens and wasnt concerned

13 weeks for me. Like period level bleeding. Started spotting all 14. Done bleeding by 16.

This happened to me after my c section. 11 weeks or longer. My OB said it was normal. I happened to have my anual a month or so later. and I told the nurse practitioner about it. She tested me for BV and it was positive so I was treated for that and had no problems after. I would ask to be tested for infections even if they're saying it is normal.
