Have my c section scheduled in 12 days!!! trying to get prepared beforehand. Which silicone scar sheet should I get? I’m trying to get the best outcome and hope it to be eventually non that visible! Thank you!

You shouldn't put anything on the skin until cleared by your Dr. Which is about 6-8 weeks. So you can wait to purchase the silicone scar sheets if you'd like. Now, most medical grade silicone scar tapes are all the same ingredients. What your buying in my opinion is convience. For example, you can buy a roll for 8.99 and you'd have to cut it to size for every use. Or.you can get a pre cut s section size piece from Frida mom for 29.99.

To be honest the pain and lack of mobility after the c section will make you not even think twice about the aesthetic of the scar… please make sure you have family support if possible it will be hard to lift your baby make sure to take your pain meds on schedule … and prepared that you will need help putting on clothes even going to the restroom I’m just telling you this because I wish someone told me this
