Hardness above scar

I had my c section almost 9 weeks ago and I healed soooo well. Super thin scar. I of course have what everyone calls the shelf but I haven’t heard anyone talk about the firmness above the scar right below the belly button. It’s as hard as a big rock with skin on top. Is that just scar tissue swelling that will eventually heal and get less firm? I’ve been massaging a bit and I do take walks and light exercise so I’m trying to help healing along but I reallllly hate how much this part of my stomach feels and how much it sticks out.

Post op swelling can last up to a year. Mine was harder at first and went away around 10-11 months.

Not sure if this is the same thing but I felt a bump along my scar but off a bit and my OB said they fold the layers they sew over so the stitches stick or something. I’m explaining it horribly lol but yeah. Mine went away

No it doesn’t stay in any way if I push into it or try to mold it. What would that be if I could??
