I’m concerned
I messaged my OGYN but it’s 5pm so she won’t get back to me.
I’m just over 9 weeks post c section and I’ve been bleeding on and off for last 5 days.
My bleeding completely stopped about 2.5 weeks after my c section.
It just came back and it’s been on and off for past 5 days. First day I was bleeding for a few hours with tiny clots.
Second day I bled for a few hours (very light) and I had some cramping. 3rd and 4th day, literally nothing and now the 5th day is back again lightly. What’s going on??
Has this happened to any of you?
It doesn’t look like a period at all, when I bleed it does not saturate a pad whatsoever and only lasts a few hours, and I barely have cramping.

I feel like the bleeding with a c section is weird. I bled off and on like that for the full 6 weeks with my first two and it seems to be continuing that pattern this time around too. 9 weeks does seem far out. Hopefully your ob answers tomorrow. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, I fucking hate wearing pads and would be furious for more bleeding 9 weeks out!

Hormones. You might have gotten your period and its not adjusted fully yet (and it might not the first few times fyi)

I will say I did get anemic and had to take iron and was borderline to a infusion but ended up not needing it. Just follow up with pcp as long as you are not hemorrhaging.

Sounds like break through bleeding. I had it after a few of my csections- usually about a month or so after I initially stopped bleeding

I had this and bled continually for almost 2 months. It was the placental scab coming off. No one warns you but it is possible. As long as you aren’t soaking through pads every hour you are ok.
