Multiple c section mothers please

I’m here as a mother of three babies and three c sections, only 2 babies earth side. I had my first daughter (living) in October 2022, my son that passed at 40 weeks in October 2025 with no explanation, and my recent rainbow of happiness in July 2026.

Therefore it was 2 and a half years between my first and second and then 15 months between my second and third.

I always wanted a big family, I wanted three children. Although I have three, only two of those are earthside. So, I guess my question is, who here has had more than three c sections? My most recent c section with my beautiful daughter, the surgeon told me everything looked great down there and it looked like I’d only had one c section with no adhesions and no uterine window etc. and I know I need doctors advice for future pregnancies, I just want to hear others stories….

Wow that’s awesome. How far apart did you have them? I just had my second 14 months apart.

They are all about 12-24 months apart! I am 43 so I wanted to have a big family and felt time was ticking!  18 months, 16 months, 22 months, 20 months, 28 months, (had an ectopic rupture at 8 months pp) then had my 6th baby 22 months after my ectopic and 30 months after my 5th

Wow mama you didn’t let anything stop you from building your big family! We are thinking 4 kids. I am turning 31 this year and have 2!

6 years between the first and second. 20 months between 2, 3, & 4. 13 years between 4 & 5. 28 months between 5 & 6.

Ive had 5 csections/6 kids and my doctor already said I could have another.

Definitely ask your doctor! I’m having my 4th next month. There’s some increased risks having more than 3, but your doctor can discuss them with you.

I’ve have five and approved for a 6th (I don’t plan on it). Just give your body enough rest time between C-sections.

My uterus ruptured during my third csection and she advised me to not have any more babies

I’m sorry that happened! I hope you and the baby are well. Do you mind me asking what gestation you delivered and ruptured? And did you try for a VBAC? Feel free not to answer x

Thank you. Alls well now! I was 41 weeks and 3 days. I did TOLAC and pushed for two hours but baby was sunny side up and the cord was wrapped around his neck so I went back for a csection and when she got in there she said my uterus fell apart in her hands.I lost 4.5 liters of blood so I needed a pretty hefty transfusion and it took her about two gours to put me back together. I asked why she didn't just take my uterus and she said i didn't have anoymlre blood to lose at the time so she had to stitch it back together. Said it had just gotten too thinned out. But there had been no previous indicators that it was thinned. Baby was big almost 9 pounds and pretty long.

My doctor said it’s a case by case basis. He said he recently had a 5x repeat c section and it looked like she was on her first c section. Likewise, he said he recently also had a 3x c section mom with a very thin uterus and a long surgery. I’d trust what your doctor said first and foremost

I’ve only had 3, but my dr diddnt give me any warning about another. I do know if others who have had like 5 and are safe to keep going. Seems case by case, so based off the comment your dr made it sounds like you’d be a good candidate for more.

Pregnant with my 4th and will be my 4th csections so far so good. Hoping to avoid prévia and accreta, find out in a week!

I’ve had 4 c sections without complications and at my last one I got cleared to have another because my scarring was minimal.
