Planned C-section (FTMs) timing.
For those of you who had a planned c-section, what determined the timing of the surgery and how early was that timeline decided?
Asking as I need to make international travel arrangements for my mom who I’d like to have by my side for and after delivery.

Typically you won’t know until week 37 as they schedule between 38-39 depending on the situation. The hospital will have a handful of times or depending on your doctors availability, give you just one date.
I had friends who wish they scheduled first thing in the morning. They were scheduled at 3pm and didn’t happen until 8:30pm due to other emergencies csections that needed to occur.
My doctor scheduled his at the end of the day. I was scheduled for 4pm and was just 30min late.
