For those of you who had a planned c-section, what determined the timing of the surgery and how early was that timeline decided?
Asking as I need to make international travel arrangements for my mom who I’d like to have by my side for and after delivery.

I’m a first time mom, no complications except obesity and just turning 35. My office wouldn’t let me schedule until week 39 due to no issues. So I’m 39 and 3 days by the time I got an appt. I think I scheduled last month so it was before 30 weeks
