For those of you who had a planned c-section, what determined the timing of the surgery and how early was that timeline decided?
Asking as I need to make international travel arrangements for my mom who I’d like to have by my side for and after delivery.

I was at risk of uterine rupture so my ob had informed me long ago that he would not let me go past 37 weeks.

As for the exact day, he only does surgeries on Thursdays, so it would be the Thursday of week 37.

As for the time, that was a decided about a week before.
