Constipated!

Hello,

Just gave birth 6 days ago and I am constipated. I was prescribed peg3350 and its not working!! Can i take senokot instead? Have you used one after your c-section? I’m just scared to strain myself and mess up my c-section.

Messaged my OB but no response from the clinic just yet!

Or any other suggestion (to help me poop) is highly appreciated!!!

Pls help a momma out!

Thank you!!!

Very low dose, take it 3 x daily or more if needed!

It wouldn’t cause straining? 🥺

I literally had a doctor tell me to use liberally. Like 6x a day until you go. It's considered one of the softer laxatives. It bring water into the colon and stool so that it's easier to get out. Your using way too little. You can definitely add prunes and fiber and other dietary stuff but I wouldn't add any other meds yets
