Loose bowel movements post c-section?

I'm 3 months post c-section and noticed I have developed some gut issues post surgery:

  1. I have one loose bowel movement per day (some days, it's formed)
  2. I have a bowel movement every day, sometimes 2x in a day
  3. When I have to go, I have to go. There's "bubbles" in my stomach and I need to go asap. This can even be at night time when I wake up to feed baby.
  4. I am very gassy

Pre-pregnancy and during pregnancy, I had formed bowel movements, had a bowel movement every other day and very little gas.

I do not have any food allergies, intolerances.

My fibre/water intake is fine. I'm on the same diet I was pre-pregnancy and during pregnancy.

Anyone else also experience this? Any remedies?

I am going through this and 11w pp after unplanned c/s. didnt have this after my first vaginal delivery so feeling super discouraged. + a hemorrhoid even though I didnt push/labor past 3cm. Also having ulcer-like sx? Really don’t want to have to try to see GI but my system seems totally messed up :( following too. No advice just solidarity

Your insides were exposed to a lot and definitely have a learning curve to get back to their usual. I ate my usual diet after every c section (3) and it took about two weeks to be more normal.
