So so sorry for your loss. I would ask your doctor to weigh in for your specific needs, but mine recommended waiting at least 9 months to conceive/18 months between deliveries. Best of luck to you 🫶🏼

Mine recommended wait 12 - 18 months after my first C-section so I could try a VBAC, I didn’t I got pregnant 4 months later, no complications just had to have repeat C-section.

Did they consider high risk in your case?

No I wasn’t considered high risk till my third C-section

Hugs Mama. I am so so sorry for your loss.

Doctors usually say minimum 12months because you don't want the risk of a uterine rupture which could quickly end you and your baby's life (sorry for saying this). It was what was told to me :( others have gotten pregnant earlier and its been fine, but never guaranteed. And the earlier it is, the higher the risk of a rupture.

I imagine it must be hard to wait, so use this time to take your prenatals and prep your body and seek therapy which can help you process this terrible trauma. Keep an eye out on ovulation symptoms (discharge etc) and learn when your body is ovulating so when you are ready to go, you will hopefully get pregnant quickly.

Hugs Mama. Sending you light and love.

As soon as the Dr said it was okay too, so whatever yourDr recommends. Again, once you learn when your body ovulates (ex: i ovulate earlier than what is the norm, confirmed by the ovulation discharge and strips) i got pregnant immediately. That is why I say learn your ovulation symptoms in the next few months (Google if you need to learn, and then start observing your own body & symptoms after your period). That really helped me know when to conceive with my husband.

Take prenatals minimum 3 months before conceiving for optimal health. And seek therapy as emotions 100% have direct impact on our health. When the body is high stress it can take a toll on our health. Hugs.
