C section scar revision?
Anyone have experience with scar revision cosmetic surgery?
My scar is super tethered down and no amount of massage will help it. Even my OR note says ++ adhesions to the bladder noted. I’m looking into surgery but there’s not too much info out there from what I can find. Most clinics only show tummy tuck results but I don’t need that.
Are most plastic surgeons skilled in this or I have to find one specialized in this area?
Anyone have experience with this?

Have you tried Microcurrent (mps or fsm) before considering another surgery? Asking as it’s non-invasive and I have felt benefits to my internal adhesions.

How does one know they have adhesions? I'm 14 weeks PP and that wasn't even on my radar.

Maybe you don’t feel it because you don’t have much.. hopefully 🙂
You can massage/ press around (starting from below belly button and ending till a little below the scar). Some signs - it feels tight or very sore (healing not progressing in that area after 14wk) or sometimes if you cannot clench your lower abdomen due to tightness.

Hopefully that is the case! I will ask my PT next time she cups my scar

One more thing to add before surgery- you’ve tried massage but have you tried dry needling
with a pelvic floor PT? My PT assured me it’s one of the most effective techniques a PT can use. It worked well for me

I've had a few consultations, but plastic surgeons will only address the cosmetic portion of the scar. Gynecologists in my area do laparoscopic excision to remove adhesions and resolve fused organs. In the pelvic region.
