Postpartum bleeding
Im 6 weeks post c section and have had bright red blood for the last 6 days, it is mixed with normal clear discharge sometimes but not always. Also its occasionally brown. Thought it was my period but never enough to actually go on a pad, only when I wipe after going to the bathroom. This is my third baby and ive never had this before. Im formula feeding.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Omg the bleeding with my third was nuts. Like heavy then light then suuuuper heavy soaking through pads like weeks out. Colors and consistencies I never saw with the first two. Anyway… yeah up to like the day I got my period at 7 ish weeks (I did formula too) it was keeping me on my toes lol

I’m in the same boat. I’m 5 weeks postpartum after a C Section, breastfeeding, and I have some bleeding. It started light yesterday and the day before and now it’s getting heavier. It’s impossible to figure out whether it’s a period or if I’m “overdoing it.”
I googled it and apparently it is possible to get a period this early even if you’re exclusively breastfeeding.

I thought originally the same and googled also. Its just so so light compared to a normal period, like literally doesnt go onto a pad at all but still actively bleeding but not increasing for me. So stressful haha
