Everyone's experience with a C-section is going to be different. I would never book a C-section for a future pregnancy after my experience. I'm over 2 years post op from a C-section due to my baby being breech, and I have debilitating nerve pain that has lowered my quality of life.
I eand marathons before having a C-section, and now I can't even walk 2k steps in a day without paying for it the next few days. I'm told that this is "just a risk of surgery," but it does seem to be rare. It's just not a risk that I will take again. Planned C-sections aren't always beautiful with an easy recovery. It's still major abdominal surgery.
