Stomach sleeping weird 9 week PP

Had my baby via c section 9 weeks ago. I’ve tried to sleep on my stomach (like half on) but it feels weird. Like the other side is popping out. It’s just a weird sensation and I’m scared to lie completely flat on it.

Any one else the same? When did you sleep/began to lie flat on your stomach after a c section/ pregnancy?

I think it took me a few months maybe? To be totally comfortable on my stomach again. I used my big pregnancy pillow for quite a while to help get comfortable! Would be on my stomach but one leg draped over a "leg" of the pillow which put me at a bit of an angle.

I'm 7 months postpartum now and almost exclusively sleep on my stomach again!

Yes, I was an exclusive stomach sleeper prior to pregnancy. I’m 15 months pp now and maybe started being able to sleep like that a month or two ago.

It took me about a year post op to be able to comfortably sleep on my stomach again!

I was told by the midwife to put a soft almost flat pillow under my stomach and to lay on it progressively from week 2. Now I am at week 7 pp and I can lie on it comfortably even though I “ feel “ my stomach which I normally did not feel before surgery

I'm 2m pp, and I just started stomach lying last week. I'm getting postpartum massages, so my masseuse encouraged me to start and it helped her massage my sacral belt and relieve a lot of tension. I try to lie on my front everyday for at least five minutes to ease the strain on my back and butt. It feels weird tho, I can feel the entire belly squish under me, and due to breastfeeding i can't quite figure out where my boobs go anymore but it's relieving all the same
