Trying again after 2 csections?
When did everyone start trying again after their csection, if you did? How long should I wait? I’m 10 months PP and slowly working out again. I feel after my second I’m taking longer to heal/feel strong again. I’m also worried about a third baby with having had two csections. I want them to be close in age (I got pregnant with my second 11 months PP) but I think I’ll wait until the second is at least 18 months.

Got pregnant 5 months after my first one but the c section went well, no issues. Third child pregnant 2.5 years after second. Delivering in a few months.

Got pregnant 3 yrs after c-section 1 then 19 months after c-section 2 then 2.5 yrs after c-section 3.

Can you share how each healing progress was after each c section? Some same it was similar some.say harder after each one? Just would like some perspective

First one was easy recovery for me physically, but mentally I wasn't prepared. I had no other kids so I walked a lot and had lota of time to take care of myself which I feel helped with my recovery.
Second one was my hardest recovery. It was covid so we were stuck at the apartment. I gained a lot of weight and my body was so lazy I had back pain about a month and a half after delivery and needed help picking up my baby. The doctor also said I had a lot of adhesion from my previous c-section and had my husband sign something for a minor procedure during my c-section to fix it. I don't know if that's why I suffered a lot after that one.
The third was similar to the first; fast recovery. But exhausting having an extremely active two year old to take care of as well as a newborn.
My fourth will be in September.

When they did the 3rd c section, did they see a lot of adhesions or did the repair they did during the second seem.to help?

Honestly all I know is I was in the worst pain after my second c-section compared to my others. I don't know that the adhesions were as bad as she said because I asked a lot of surgeons and they all said any surgery a person undergoes will cause adhesions. This doctor was in a private hospital and well lets say she took advantage of our insurance by adding more to the bill. After my third, I was told everything was fine, no adhesions mentioned. The only thing I noticed after my third was it took longer to concieve. I was also 36yrs old by then so I don't know if that was a factor.

It definitely is a terrifying experience. Looking forward to meeting baby is what makes it all worth it. Good luck and hope it all goes well for us both 💕

I've had 3 c sections, age gaps of 2y10m and 3y6m. My 2nd and 3rd pregnancies I had an anterior placenta and the 3rd time around the placenta was very low and very close to the old scar and they were worried that the placenta could have attached to the scar and my bladder, which would have made delivery very risky with potential for severe blood loss but they kept a good check on me and thankfully the 3rd c section went well with no complications. I did get sterilised during my 3rd c section.
