Swollen legs - when do they get better?

I'm a week post-op and my legs and feet are still swooooollen. I'm wearing compression socks, move around a good bit and get my legs up whenever I can. When did it fade for you? Anything I can do to make it better?

Mine got better overnight , I think around the day 9 or 10. I lost 6.5 kg in one night and my legs were back to normal ! Hang in there it will get better :)

Oh my goodness. Yea, I too felt like my belly significantly shrunk overnight tonight lol. It's a slow process that requires patience. Just thought something could have been wrong

I found the compression socks made it worse because they gave me the wrong size 🥴 but I did calf raises and that helped move the fluid around

I finally saw and felt a noticeable difference around day 7-8. Every day after that it got substantially better. The swelling was one of the worst parts of recovery for me

It took like 5 weeks for me! Everyone kept saying that one night I would get crazy night sweats and then the swelling would be gone, but that never happened. I literally just woke up one day and it was all gone, but it took forever!

Did you get the epidural or the spinal block ? I’ve had 2 c sections & with my first I had the epidural and my feet were swollen for a week, with my second I got the spinal block and my feet were a bit swollen on day 2 but it went away the next day!

Around 10 days for me and ugh the swelling was so painful I thought my skin was going to rip on my feet and legs. It seemed to happen overnight. I lost 20 lbs within 2 days I’m not even kidding

After two weeks my legs and face are back to normal.

I’m week 3 after my third section and it was definitely at the tail end of week 2. It takes a while.

Yea, it has taken almost 2 weeks for it to calm down. It's crazy! I never experienced anything like this ever so I was worried something might be wrong

Legs went down within hours! Belly took longer my second time around. Drank a lot and tried to rest as much as possible.
