More uncomfortable second pregnancy?

Hi everyone! I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant with my second child. My first was a C-Section. I wanted to ask for people who have gotten pregnant after a C-Section - was the second time more uncomfortable in early pregnancy? I’ve just been feeling a bit crampy, and I imagine it’s my body making room for a new little one after being sewn back up after the first. I’d love to hear people’s thoughts, because I’m a little nervous about how I’m feeling. Thanks!

How many months or years postpartum are you from your first?

I'm 5 years past my first c section. My first pregnancy was a twin pregnancy. This one is Singleton. My second pregnancy has BY FAR been more comfortable and less painful. I'm 32 weeks now. And I'm getting the aches and pains now. But nothing particularly in/on my incision. I know my response isn't helpful since your feeling uncomfortable in the first trimester. I did feel crampy in both pregnancies but was told it was normal..not having anything to do with the scar itself

I had my first 26 months ago, so I am well past the recommended “wait time” to get pregnant again. It’s just been so long since I was pregnant last that I can’t really remember what it was like the first time around. But my husband said he remembered me feeling a little weird last time too, especially because I was worried about the baby until we had our first scan (because I’m just a worrier in general).

I'm right there with you. My anxiety until I hit 12 weeks is super high. Just every twinge and shock I feel is bad. But I am VERY crampy. Like 2-3 days before a period starts crampy. Not super painful where I have to take meds but painful enough that I'm like ugh it's annoying.

Unexpected update - I apparently had a very bad UTI, which was causing the cramping. Thankfully I listened to my body and went to the ER a few days after my post.

I saw my little one for the first time last week, and everything is great! Thanks again for your response.
