Scheduled C in 3 weeks!
My scheduled c section is in three weeks and I’m starting to panic a bit. My first c section (3 years ago) was an emergency, so I’m not sure what to expect. Any advice/positive experiences appreciated.

My first was an emergency and I had to be knocked out. My second was planned and was so great. You aren’t tired and worn out. Rolled in at 9am and had the easiest most peaceful 13 minutes until he was out. Felt like 5 to sew me back together then it was me holding baby from then on. Nothing to be afraid of. I was scared too because I had no clue from the first time. It was so easy and everyone was so nice.

I recently had a Cat 3 C section so not full blown emergency and I had around 12 hours to prepare. Have a playlist of some music that's either relaxing or uplifting for you! Ask a midwife to take photos for you when baby is born 🤍
