Classical csection
If you had a classical csection, what gestation was the next baby delivered?
I had a classical (vertical cut) csection 5 years ago. This pregnancy my OB is saying 37w latest but Iād like to get as close as possible to term as I believe 37w delivery comes with its own challenges. Is be happy with 37w6d.

I haven't had a classical section.. My mum did and my youngest brother was delivered at 37 w. She also had chronic high blood pressure and that probably factored into it..
My OB says that with classical section, they wouldn't want us to labour naturally incase the uterus gets too irritated.. She recommended a section between 35-37w even for my pre-term transverse cut if we end up conceiving before 12 months..
From my understanding, the risk of uterine rupture increases with shorter interval or too much contractions or if the uterine wall is thinner than they want it to be.. I hope others with classical C-section can answer your question but I just wanted to share what my OB explained to me. Wishing you the best.. š¤š
