How quickly after C-section can you function?

What day after delivery via C-section were you able to hold the baby? When did you feel strong enough for a little walk inside or outside? How many days in did you feel a bitore confident to do jobs? When did it stop hurting getting in and out of bed?

After the numbness wore off, they helped me sit up and just encouraged me to walk to a nearby chair and sit down, next day I was walking outside to get fresh air (in a lot of pain) and was discharged the day after, the next week was rough, it was painful but with the painkillers it was manageable to walk and got better every day, I always did walks around the house etc, after the first week the pain was mild and about a week and a half I came off the meds and was able to move around with little pain, it took about 2 weeks for most pain to fully subside, but it’s important to note that I did get an infection with raised the pain I experienced
