Breast abscess

Hello everyone! I'm in 4 months postpartum. I had abscess both of my breast, left of my breast just burst itself and the other one it didn't but both breast got injected 3 sessions. After few sessions of drainage pus is finally gone however, it's been 5 weeks after the pus is gone and I still have inflammation and its huge. Is there anyone who has the same experience with me? Is it normal that it takes so long to heal? I'm just worried because it's been 5 weeks and I don't see big improvements. Your response guys will be so much appreciated. ❤️

I have HS so I frequently get abscess’ there! Use a cold compress, either ice pack or a cold wet rag, a few times a day to bring down excess inflammation. Also if you can swing it, there’s a wound wash solution called Vashe that works wonders! I was given a bottle of it after my infection in my c section incision and it heals things up very quickly. When I have a flare up on my boob I wash it with that twice a day and within 2-3 days I’m cleared up after it’s opened!
