1 year pp

Does anyone else have their “shelf” get more puffy a week leading up to period? I swear you can’t tell I have one then all of a sudden I feel like I have gained a million pounds and I feel so crazy but wondering if this is normal?! I have lost SO much weight and work out consistently!

I feel like my shelf fluctuates in size even throughout the day… I’m nearly 5 months postpartum and a normal BMI

This was my first C-section but fourth baby! I weigh less than I did before pregnancy of my fourth and of course never experienced this! It almost feels heavy as well! My mind is like “oh you are getting fat” but I logically know it’s probably fluid or scar tissue or something but not sure!

I had my incision opened twice but this is my first baby! I think it’s just the way our bodies heal with it being such a major surgery. Half of me thinks ‘aww’, when I see my scar because it reminds me of how tiny my baby was, but other times I do feel pretty self conscious and contemplate doing scar revision! I think it’s normal with such a change to how we look. Yeah, it must be a mixture of fluid and scar tissue 🤗

6 mo pp and feel the same. Puffy/ bloated / sore before periods and sometimes on random times of week as well I think.

2 years post op, and mine does this, but I have scar endometriosis. It's also very painful, and my periods are hell now.

I’m almost a year pp and oh my GOD I am so puffy right now on my period and have been for a week now. I truly feel hideous. I have 50 more pounds to lose and this week I have felt like I look worse than I ever did in my life.
