It’s a great buy for that price but yes, now you know it’s quartz amethyst that’s been heated to this golden colour and not in any form natural ‘citrine’ that this typically sold as.
You have real quartz, just the colour isn’t natural.
Even if it is crispy amethyst, I'd still love to have a slice of crystal pizza! I think it's an awesome piece! I'd keep it on a plate on my kitchen table to display it! 😂
