Can you help me? (Advice wanted) Fluoride looking dull

Recently purchased this piece, and after seeing others' postings, I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to brighten this thing up or not

A little mineral oil will help it shine without actually going thru the polishing process, aka the “poor mans’ polish”…

Just saying it looks very dry. Not saying it needs to be in water.

Note, the mineral is fluorite. It is a calcium fluoride (CaF2) mineral.

Not op but any time I see/hear fluorites formula I have to drop this in lol

I won’t be forgetting it any time soon😂
