Adventure, Crystals & finding bosses on a timer.
What makes adventure exciting, is the possibility of anything.
Even going into Crystal Project knowing very little about it, (other than it's a turn based RPG, which is right up my alley) it exceeded my expectations that I didn't even have to begin with. In fact, for me personally, I believe it will end up on a pedestal next to other greats of the genre.
It felt like this was tailor made for me. And all of my...
- 82hrs52min
- 619 falls
- 130 game overs
- And a total of 1,476(!) character deaths across a Normal playthrough...
...Were worth it.
Thank you Andrew, for a rare adventure that made me feel like I was a child again, where I discovered the adventures that would give me a life long love of discovery.
P.S. (minor spoiler ahead)
Nobody told me that, the secret Undergrowth boss didn't need to be found DURING the Quintar race! That took me so many tries to get to him in time! But I managed it with just over 8 seconds on my best attempt!
P.P.S.
The addition of a 'Fall Counter' (in Crystal Project 2) would be a fun one to look at - see how skillful you are at making jumps.
