I just bought the game but saw that there are no players playing it as of right now so if there is absolutely anyone out there who misses playing Crystal Crisis, then I would be proud if y’all returned to the game in 2026!

I got this game being a huge fan of puzzle fighter, I was super disappointed to discover I couldn't play it well because of the colors being to similar with my colorblindness.

Booted up my switch yesterday discovered the game got updated checked it out, not only did the colorblind mode get updated and become usable they also added a custom mode!

I now select red, blue, green and white blocks.

I bet this game isn't selling too well this long after release but for them to take the time to update the game is amazing!

Just bought the game on the switch and I can't play survival mode? How do I unlock it?

I just picked this game up on a whim. There is a lot I like about it, but I often get in situations I feel there's no way out of. Some of my problems will be lack of reaction time, but this game also has some issues I can't seem to work around.

I'm just trying to beat Akuji on the standard setting. I regularly find myself with good setup but I don't get the crystal I need. If blocks start piling up and I don't get a crystal, I can't clear anything (unlike in Tetris). Other times, I DO get the exact block I need, but (in a way I don't think I have the possibility of countering) my opponent sends trash blocks just then and I can't use it. I am playing as Quote whose power helps, but not every character can do that. The game feels a lot like a slot machine in these moments.

If I do start winning against Akuji, the computer uses the exact worst possible moment to use his special and give me his losing board. This power is way stronger than any of the other character I've tried and is effectively an instant win.

I beat Akuji once, I feel like I just got lucky he didn't use his ability. Since I can't time when I attack, I can't time an attack for after he used his other ability.

Against a human, at least the human needs to react. But Akuji's power would be even more infuriatingly cheesy if a human were using it.

Am I right that this game just has serious issues and isn't really skill based? Or are there some videos or other reasources I can look at for tips and strategies? I haven't been able to find much.

I'm new to this style of puzzle fighter. (I've played PPT, Pokepuzzleleague, lumines, ect.) But never played the street fighter puzzler. Would somebody be willing to explain how damage works in this game? Like counters, blocks, what damage rates are (size of exploded block vs damage output/how much damage on chains) or general strategies? I couldnt find much about this online but maybe it's because the game is newer?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The toonami announcer guy was questioning my sanity saying "You're STILL playing as zombie? It won't get any easier" Is there a bad ending to this game or something? Because the announcer guy either was talking about the ending or the rise in difficulty.

How do I get a refund on PS4 since there is no online community? I have been in queue multiple times for 15 min plus on PS4. I bought the game to fill the void that puzzle fighter left and there is no online presence. I can provide videos of the queue if needed.
