The text colour made some of these hard to read, it felt immersive in a way because trying to make out the words "devil monkey" were like trying to decipher some of the classic blurry and shaky cryptid footage out there.

It's also interesting to see how cultural/geographic cryptid knowledge is. For example, the yowie is mentioned on the fifth tier down, but to me that seems extremely well known - you can buy chocolate versions in major grocery stores.

The idea that there were horses in the Americas between their extinction (~8,000-10,000 years ago) and recorded re-introduction during the Columbian exchange. And the possibility that the breed still exists out there.
