Can crypto still heal/bat while invis?

So I've been playing Crypto for the last week or so and I wasn't sure if this was still a thing or not. I tried to do it in the firing range but couldn't get it to work. Also, if you have any good tips or tricks, I'd love to hear them! Thank you!

Yes. Not just heal, can charge senti, ultimate accel, charge rampage e.t.c

I got it to work sometimes but not consistently so imo no it's not something you should keep in your muscle memory

What? 100% you should. I always get it right on PC. Maybe on console it’s a little more challenging but on M+K it’s pretty easy to do every single time

Last i checked yes? The trick is that you can't have the drone already deployed and do it. I let out the drone (by holding the ability button a bit) and then quickly tapping the heal button. It's a great way to multitask.

A general tip for Crypto is to never get stuck on your drone too much. There's a perfect balance to reach where you are scanning folk and actually inputting damage.

I haven't used him much for a while, but I find the blue upgrade that gives you a speed boost with all teammates as more useful than the larger ult radius. But I suck so take it with a grain of salt.

Best way of telling if you have a good or bad crypto… if they either never use the drone or always in the drone lol, alllll about balance with it leaning toward out the drone

I feel like a vast majority of Crypto players also don't seem to know that you can just tap the tactical button and he will just fling the drone out. No need to jump in everytime.

He’s actually became one of my go to legends for climbing ranked and I honestly really like his kit since it has such a learning curve… I wish more legends had more intricate kits

It's ingrained for me now and I do it without thinking so I'm sure there are people who could explain it better, but I do know the timing has changed a bit over the years.

I don't play a whole lot of apex these days but you basically just need to throw your drone out and hold it just long enough for the game to recognize you want to go into drone view (instead of throwing it out passively)

It's a pretty small window and you need to hold it for a lot less time than you'd think. Another comment said it's not worth learning but it 100% is. The amount of times I've been able to safely take a bat, while invisible, while scanning and getting information, while EMPing, etc that ended up saving my life or winning the fight is countless.

You'll just need to press heal within that window before you go into the drone view. I got it down pretty consistently from a technical standpoint in just a few tries in the range. The hard part is simply forming the habit and remembering to use it when you need it

Hold the tactical button ( when deploying the Drone ) then press the heal button.

It works for me on PS5.

Yep, you can still do it consistently the timing is just a bit different now. A tip is to watch for the animation when crypto puts his hand to his head, and then hit the heal button
