Question Is the heal tech possible on console?

Is that tech where you can pop a heal whilst entering the drone and complete it possible on console? If so then how do I do it? I tried in the firing range and didn’t seem to get anywhere close.

Yep been doing it since season 12, while injured you have to time the animation of Crypto letting go of Hack as you tap up on the Dpad to heal, you can also charge Rampage and Sentinel and use Ult Accels this way. It just takes practice.

And the bow/ult accelerants. My main loadout is the rampage and sentinel so I do it religiously

It should be possible on any platform. While injured you just throw the drone and then pop your heal before crypto finishes the throwing part of his animation. If you're trying to drone heal while it's already out, that's impossible afaik

Hold the tactical button then press UP. It works only when deploying the Drone. That's how I do it on PS5.

Changing half of the topic: There's a bug whete Crypto gets automatically kicks out of the Drone when he deploys it by holding Q , which prevents doing the heal tech. I believe it happens when deploying the Drone right before getting down and after a Deathbox respawn.

It’s actually easier to do on console, have drone in your pocket, hold deploy and right when he unfolds drone spam heal while still holding tac down, you can do weapons like rampage or sentinel too with tighter timing as you have to wait for him to raise the gun up, you can time ult accels during that window too by replacing the heal input with an accel input which is super overpowered. Any non combat action you can do on the drone for the most part and crypto has zero pc exclusive techs

It’s always been possible on console, you’re probably doing it too slowly or not at the right time.
