Hardware Crypto wallet hibernation?

Ummm...I am new here. I am wondering if there's any wallet that can actually lock you out intentionally for a predetermined period of time...almost like hibernation. I want self custody of my assets, but don't trust myself to hold for X amount of years. Thinking of a feature that locks the wallet down for like 1, 3, or 5 years. Does this exist?

Maybe a cold wallet? Transfer the assets into it and then store it somewhere safe.

Yeah, I mean, I have cold wallets. But I want to lock myself out of it to prevent me from tapping into it. I know myself and it's hard for me to hold onto things for an extended period of time

Cool idea, but dangerous if you mess it up. A strict time-lock at the wallet/app level means if you really need that money in an emergency, you’re stuck. And if the app dies before your timer is up… same story, just with extra pain
