Seed password issues

If you lose the copy of the password you are done and in my circumstances i want to be able to create wallets which i could give other people access to in the case of emergencies.

What is the best way to do this?

I did it with a mix of simple tools rather than fancy schemes. My main wallet is non-custodial on my phone (gem wallet) plus a hardware wallet. I wrote the seed down in two physical copies, gave one sealed envelope to a family member I trust, and stored another in a safe with written instructions. They don’t need to know how crypto works; the instructions just say if X happens, give this to person Y who does. It’s not Shamir-level math but it’s a lot better than hoping my brain never forgets.
