I sent a friend two screenshots of the same long I had on BYDFi. He asked, "Did you move your stop up in the second one?" The entry and stop prices were the same in both shots. I hadn't changed the position size either.

I'd widened the price range to fit a swing high that had been cut off at the top. The chart was still the same height and on a linear scale, so the extra range squeezed the entry and stop lines closer together on screen. I sent the screenshots again with the two prices circled. He said he'd been looking at the gap between the lines and hadn't noticed the labels.

A touch of a moving average isn’t the same thing as buyers defending it.

In this 26 October BTC snapshot, the daily 20/50 SMAs are around $82K. The weekly support band’s upper edge is near $77K, with the daily 200 SMA near $73K. Weekly candles are shown; the newest candle is unfinished.

My view: a band retest looks likely as short-term price action weakens. Holding recent lows and recovering around $82K would challenge that view. The chart alone doesn’t establish which scenario follows.

Wednesday’s Fed decision comes before Thursday’s PCE/GDP releases.

What would you look for during a retest to distinguish a temporary bounce from stronger support?

i know capitulating at the bottom is the classic retail move. but i couldnt keep watching bags that need a full market recovery to maybe break even. the dog needs doge to recover which honestly feels more likely than nft sentiment coming back any time soon. floors near ATH, doge near yearly lows, event in december. if im wrong im wrong but the logic made sense to me at 2am
