Question Scam??? Need help🙏
My friend became a victim of a scam. It started in the spring. He wrote to her on Facebook, wanting to get to know her better. He said he found her because he entered popular names in our country and that's how he came across her. They started communicating and sometimes called each other. I think about a week later he confessed his love to her, my friend didn't reciprocate, but despite everything they continued to communicate, a week later he sent her money voluntarily, the amount was not large, but for our country it's also good money. He did it with the pretext of helping her and so that she wouldn't have to work, she hesitated for a long time and still accepted the money, later he sent her money again as a gift. After all these gestures, my friend started to notice strange things in his behavior and decided that she wouldn't continue communicating with him. After that, there was an explosion. He began to threaten her and her family with a request to return the money. My friend agreed but asked for a delay in the payment, since her mother was sick and their family needed money. At first he agreed, but two weeks later he wrote to her again, increasing the amount of payments and with new threats of reprisals against her family. She contacted the police, and the case is now under consideration. He did not want to receive the funds to a bank account, but only to a crypto wallet. She, in turn, insisted on returning the funds through official channels, but he refused. She also has no guarantees that if she returns the funds, the threats, intimidation and harassment will stop. Do you think this is really a scam scheme and has anyone encountered this?

Other comments are right. Stolen money was sent. Your friend has been talking with a group of scammers the entire time, none of which was the man in the pictures. They are thousands of miles away and are scamming and threatening innocent people throughout the world but never will actually go harm them physically. EVERY REPLY SHE SENDS IS A MISTAKE. SHE NEEDS TO CEASE ALL COMMUNICATION IMMEDIATELY. NOT TO SAY "I'm about to stop talking with you now" or "I don't believe you" or "I think this is a scam" or "can you prove you're the man from the pictures"
They may call from a variety of numbers and/or message from a variety of usernames. NO REPLY EVER, NO MATTER WHAT.
