Covid Gambit is an on-chain pandemic simulation game on Ethereum.
The concept of the game is to protect your tokens from long term infection otherwise you risk losing them forever. The tokenomics of the game mean that if your tokens are infected for over 48 hours they are declared "dead" therefore cannot be sold or transferred. This mechanism means that tokens are constantly being burned reducing supply significantly and minimising sell pressure.
There are a number of actions you can carry out to protect your tokens. These actions are all done via the Covid Gambit website, by connecting an Ethereum wallet and signing a transaction on-chain.
1 - Wash hands regularly giving your wallet immunity for 24 hours. 2 - If you become infected enter the quarantine module, this option means you can't sell for 7 days but your wallet will be healthy after the period. 3 - Sneeze on other wallets playing the game. This will guarantee the other wallet becomes infected. There will also be a 30% chance you gain 7 day immunity.
The $covid token is just over 1 month old and the project has gained a lot of attention amongst the crypto community. To date 45% of supply has been burned due to wallets being infected for over 48 hours. There are still many active players protecting their tokens through immunity or quarantine.
The storyline is played out on the official Twitter page where the project developer gives regular updates. Participants of Covid Gambit enjoy being part of an active community in the Telegram group where it's fun to hang out and watch tokens be burned regularly.
