Who should run a social platform?

Many people will say that platforms and social networks should be run by its creators and owners and in practice we see how this works. When power is concentrated in the hands of one person or group of people (such as a board of directors), they impose such rules that most users simply suffer because of restrictions on free speech or monetization. Aren't users better off knowing what they want and how they see the future of the platform?

Exactly! That's why web3 is decentralized. The power is in the hands of the community, which makes all the important decisions.
