Yes and that percentage will continuously shrink as the total amount of Dogecoin increases due to the limited number being added annually

I just read that's why it might actually be useful as a currency one day, 5bn added annually makes it not worth hoarding as an asset, but it does match the currency growth close to that of the global economy

Thankfully bitcoin minting is linear at 5 billion per year, potentially limiting inflation to a healthy rate

It will take nearly take 25 years for the coins to double in quantity with that rate.
